Xuan Hew is a Malaysian landscape artist based between Malaysia and the UK. Rooted in a deep connection to nature, the practice explores landscapes as spaces of reflection, longing, and stillness, aiming to evoke a meditative experience while fostering a sense of reverence for the natural world and sustainability.

With a Master's degree in Fine Art – Painting from the University of the Arts London (UAL), Camberwell College of Arts, Xuan Hew has exhibited internationally. Recent exhibitions include the solo show Moments of Stillness at Peckham Levels, London, and the co-curated duo exhibition When Urban Meets Nature at GMBB, Kuala Lumpur. Residencies in both countries have shaped the artistic approach, including a recent residency at Chelsea, London, and the National Art Gallery Malaysia.
