Millbank Residency

After the Espacio residency, I joined the summer residency at Millbank, part of the school's program.
Initially restricted to a table and prohibited from using oil paint, I negotiated with the organizers and secured an empty room. This space was crucial for starting my new project, as I require ample room to work effectively.
Upon further discussion, I learned that studio-safe solvents were permitted. This residency offered valuable group discussions, allowing us to share practices with colleagues from other UAL campuses.
A significant advantage was the proximity to Tate Britain. I visited their exhibitions multiple times. After a year in London, I still think the accessibility to great art is such a privilege.
During this time, I completed part of my work, 'The World as Our Book', intended for display at the research festival.
